The Woodstock Green Team is proud to announce it's recent achievement in officially making Woodstock a 'Green Energy Community' in it's participation with the CT Clean Energy Program. This is a direct result of all those who have participated in our efforts to make a difference.
The approval from the Board of Selectman to purchase 100% Renewable Energy for all municipal buildings had completed our requirements to become a 'Green Community' and, as a result, has drawn attention to other businesses and households in Woodstock and the surrounding communities. In addition, we have been invited to submit a proposal to the Board of Education on August 27th for purchasing renewable energy and reducing costs throughout the school districts.
Woodstock now joins Mansfield and Coventry as the only Green Communities in Eastern CT... see CT Clean Energy Communities.
SIGN-UP - FREE DRAWING FOR ALL RENEWABLE ENERGY MEMBERS
As an incentive to particitpate, we are having a FREE DRAWING toward the end of the summer for all members who are signed up with either Community Energy or Sterling Planet for FREE Solar Gifts.
You need to go to our website and sign-up with our ONLINE SUBSCRIPTIONS for 'Green Members" to be eligible.
